Mod Boho Inspired Nursery - work in progress by Kristen McCurdy

It's always a pleasure when you are able to do projects with friends! Vicky + Kevin are expecting their first child together, Baby Royal and asked me to help make their vision for their nursery come to life. It is a mod boho style nursery fit for a king. We just have the finishing details left but here is what we have done so far.

To start the walls were all beige and there was carpet on the floor. We replaced the carpet with a distressed laminate. We then changed the walls to white (behr blooming jasmine) and planked and painted the feature wall an emerald green. Vicky transformed the vintage crib to gold and painted the dresser to match the wall, the dresser still needs the hardware added. We are awaiting a few decor items to arrive along with the draperies but I love where this room is headed!

This is one of those old tables from the 80s that your mom probably had with a table cloth covering it and a glass top. We modernized it by painting the top white and adding gold to the legs.
